Traditional Chinese green tea. Sencha comes from “Sen” meaning steam, and “Cha” meaning tea. The process for making Sencha tea starts by folding the leaves lengthwise on drying trays and then steaming the leaves over wood fueled pans to keep the leaf a the peak of fermentation. The bright green color of this tea brews a bright yellow infusion with a flavor of grassy sweetness.

HOT: 1 teaspoon per 8 oz serving. Steep for 1-3 minutes in 175-190 F water.
ICED: 1 teaspoon per 4 oz serving. Steep for 1-3 minutes in 175-190 F water. Add Ice after steep time.
