General Description
Japanese Matcha comes from shade grown tea leaves that are then ground into a velvety smooth powder. Matcha is said to have been produced towards the end of the 16th century but has since been a staple in Japanese culture. This antioxidant rich tea is filled with caffeine and can be made as a delicious latte, mixed with lemonade, added to ice cream, or enjoyed on its own.

Ingredients

Steeping Instructions
Shortened method (non traditional): Place approximately .07 oz (one “Momoka”) of matcha powder in a bowl, add approximately 6-8 oz of either hot or cold matcha(depending on beverage of choice). Froth the matcha and water with a bamboo whisk.
